So last weekend I went to see Shutter Island. This movie is a really good, suspenseful mystery movie. This entire movie is full of creepy-ass characters, creepy locations, and the great creepy soundtrack really adds that extra bit of creepiness at all the right places. The story is a great "mess with your mind and leave you completely lost for most of the show" type plot (which is my favorite kind) about a very intriguing situation, with an intense twist waiting at the end. As you probably already know, Shutter Island is set in the 1950's at a hospital for the criminally insane on a small, rocky island. The main character, Teddy Daniels the marshall, is played by Leonardo DiCaprio who gives one of his best performances that I have seen. All the other actors also do amazing at their parts as patients, wardens, and doctors and the superb acting really makes this movie. I won't ruin the plot for you guys by giving anything else away. My recommendation on this one is go see it in theatres, this movie was easily worth the price of a ticket.
