Seve Vs Evan - Steam Powered Rocket Ship [2006]

I've browsed the internet for far too long in hopes of finding this record, but to no avail. I had to eventually give up and get it on iTunes (ew, PAYING for digital music), but it's definitely worth it. Seve vs Evan are a duo (now trio, but this was recorded 2-man style) from good ol' Utah, part drum, part keys, all awesome. 8-bit style melodies are backed up with killer drumming and some robot, nintendo, and general nerdiness-based lyrics. It's incredibly fun music that makes you want to dance, scream along out of your car window, and go get your Mario on. This album (and band in general) really brings out the nerd in each of us.
