Since we're going to this concert tonight, I figured I'd post another one of my favorite bands that will be playing there. Saosin. After the departure of Anthony Green, Saosin went on a search to find a vocalist as good, or better than, him. They came up with Cove Reber, and whether or not you believe he filled the shoes of Mr. Green, he definitely sounds good with the rest of the Saosin. They recorded the black EP with Cove, but their breakthrough album was definitely the full-length Saosin CD. With post-hardcore riffs and excellent singing, Saosin burst into the mainstream
circuit with this one. A few songs were re-recordings, but they all sound great. The new LP was a little lacking, but their previous work can more than make up for it.
Genre: Post-Hardcore
