I saw these guys a few nights ago opening for The Fall of Troy, they were great. It may be the Scotish accent, but I loved what I was hearing, so I decided to pick a CD (or 2, I only had a 10 dollar bill and they were 5 bucks so he just gave me 2 rather than accepting a tip) and give it a spin. Pretty awesome stuff, it's not often that the singer's accent is so thick while he sings, but this definitely doesn't hurt the band. The music is pretty straightforward, with a small dash of experimentation, but it's still pretty solid. I can imagine that it'll be playing on a raido near you soon enough, but fortunately they deserve to be there. So give this mini-album (their words, not mine. I call it an EP) a spin and let me know what you think.
