After being in one of the most influential ska bands of, well, all time (Catch 22), Thomas Kalnoky left the group and formed one of his own. Streetlight Manifesto. They have everything a ska group needs; brass, fast guitars, great sing-a-long vocals, quick drumming, and intricate bass and pull it all off expertly. The Russian-tinged sound is distinct while still being easy listening and fun. Horns bounce off of each other while Kalnoky's voice hits fast and excitingly. Definitely my favorite ska group, and definitely one of my top 5 favorite shows, you can't beat a skanking circle pit.
